NiteCore SR3 beam shots comparison
This beamshot was done to compare the NiteCore SR3 to some other CR123 lights, and somehow I wound up with a rather big pile of lights to compare with. The SR3 review can be found here, but it is in danish (google translation).

The lights are: NeoFab Spartanian II, Dereelight C2H, SureFire L1, SureFire Backup, NiteCore SR3, ITP C9, 4Sevens Quark 123, NiteCore EX10, Ra Clicky, Fenix P2D, LiteFlux LF3XT, Fenix TK11

The first graph shows the maximum amount of light the different lights can put out. S2, C2H and SR3 are the brightest single CR123 lights.

Combining all* the levels in one graph shows how evenly spaces the levels are and how wide brightness coverage the light has.
*Except for S2 (low, #4, #7, #10, high) and SR3 (low, #3, #5, #6, high).

Here are all brightess levels for S2 and SR2.

Measuring lux at 4 meter, gives an idea about how far the lights will throw the light, and as can be seen, some lights are designed more for throw than others.

Dark reference
It was not completly dark, before I started on the beamshot, this picture is taken with all the flashlights off:

All single cell lights was on CR123 batteries, except Spartanian II and C2H that was using LiIon
