• Charger name: If the charger has brand name I will use this, for chargers without a brand name I will use something else.
• USB ports: How many usb ports the charger has.
• Port current: The maximum current that can be drawn from a single port. This is the tested value when it is lower than specified. USB connectors are not rated for more than 3A (This is for 5V output).
• PD current: In the PD (USB-C Power Delivery) list there is columns for currents at each voltage.
• Total current: Total current the charger can deliver when all ports are used at the same time at 5V output.
• Standard: What charger standard the usb outputs are coded for. When multiple standards are listed it will depend on port used.
  • Apple 0.5A: Not used anymore
  • Apple 1A: Not used anymore
  • Apple 2.1A: Charger can deliver 2.1A
  • Apple 2.4A: Charger can deliver 2.4A
  • DCP: USB defined standard for 1.5A and more.
  • QC: Quick Charger, makes it possible to increase voltage to 9V or 12V
  • USB-C: Charger has USB-C output, but it do not support PD coding
  • PD: USB-C Power delivery, this can have voltages from 5 to 20V and current up to 5A at 20V
  • Auto: Port contains a chip to automatic select the best standard (Usual Samsung, Apple and DCP).
• Overload protection: This is important when using defective cables, in worst case this can ignite a fire (Unrated connectors are rated depending on coding)
  • Charger cannot deliver rated output.
  • No real overload protection, this includes chargers with a common protection for multiple ports.
  • Overload protection for each port is below 4A (5A PD can be 6A).
  • Overload protection for each port is below 3.5A and not more than 1A above rating (5A PD can be 6A).
  • Overload protection for each port is below 3A and not more than 0.5A above rating (3A QC can be 3.5A and 5A PD can be 5.5A).
• Noise: The format is rms/pp, lower numbers are best. Values below 30/300 are good, 15/150 very good.
• Min input voltage: Minimum input voltage to supply 5V output
• Max input voltage: Maximum rated input voltage. Car chargers are usual rated 24V, but real voltage in a 24V system is up to about 30V
• Extra: Charger has some extra functions:
  • Active display: There is an indication when usb output draws current.
  • V & A display: The charger has a usb voltmeter and ammeter.
  • Bluetooth: A bluetooth module is build in, see review for function.
  • FM: Car charger has a build in FM transmitter that can transmit music and/or phone voice to the car radio.
• Ratings: How well do I like the charger, see below.
• Year: The year I tested (published) the charger review.

My ratings will not always match the one in the review, this is because I can only use a single rating here, without any comments.

	Bad, this means completey hopeless.
	Usable, the charger works, but there are some serious problems
	Acceptable, the charger do a decent job
	Fairly good, there is a few hassles
	Good, everything basically works as it is supposed to
	Very good, this may mean some good extra function.
